Supply Us
At HumberVHB our aim is to supply the highest quality products to our customers. To achieve this our own suppliers must meet our exacting standards. To be considered as a supplier, we require the following:
Growers
- Global GAP certification for fresh herbs, both Option 1 and Option 2 are acceptable
- Adhearance to our pesticide application requirements
- Adhearance to our microbiological testing requirements
- Compliance with retailer technical accreditation standards
- SEDEX website B member registration prior to commencement of supply linked to HumberVHB. To complete the self assessment within 1 month of starting supply and up date this self assessments on a regular basis (6 monthly minimum)
- Allow 3rd party ethical audits to be carried out at all relevant sites at a frequency determined by HumberVHB. This frequency will be based on risk and customer requirements.
Packaging
BRC accreditation is the ideal for all packaging suppliers but is essential for any supplier of food contact material
If you do not have BRC you will be required to demonstrate that you work to BRC principles of quality, consistency, traceability, safety and ethics
Once you are an approved packaging supplier you will be asked to join SEDEX as a B member linked to HumberVHB and to maintain the self assessment
